Okay. Tell me a little bit about growing up there and how you wound up here.

I was born in Colorado, moved to Seattle, moved back to Colorado when I was 11.

I just went to school there and I moved to Florida to go to school, to go to college.

What did you want to study?

Originally, broadcast journalism.

With a goal to be what?

A broadcast journalist.

I wanted to be the ESPN, you know, like Monday Night Football, like sexy sports reporter.

Who's your favorite team and why?

Well, Seattle Seahawks, just because my daddy's a really big fan of the Seahawks.

Okay, that's cool.

Are you a daddy's girl?

I'm really not a daddy's girl or a mommy's girl.

Do you have brothers or sisters?

I have.

black sheep of the family or how do you feel?

So I know my birth family and I know my adopted family.

and definitely the black sheep of my adopted family.

But my birth family...
